Each wig is individually custom-made in New Zealand — designed, built, and finished by hand rather than produced in bulk. -
Untreated, premium human hair
Only high-grade, untreated human hair is used, ensuring a natural look, longevity, and realistic movement over time. -
Precision fit & construction
Cap size and construction are tailored to the individual, providing a secure, vapor permeable, and comfortable fit for everyday wear. -
Custom production timeline
Because each piece is made from scratch, the manufacture time can vary substantially depending on hair colour, length and texture choices, however in easily sourced hair types usually takes around 3 months (not including shipping) -
International craftsmanship & import costs
As Freedom Wigs are produced abroad, pricing also reflects exchange rates and applicable customs duties upon arrival in South Africa.​​
Lifespan of Wigs**
Freedom Wigs are designed as long-term, high-quality prosthetic hair solutions.
Freedom wigs are made to last 2–3 years. However, lifespan can vary significantly from person to person. In practice, wigs have lasted anywhere from a few months to 10 years, depending on how they are worn, cared for, and maintained.
Other factors that influence lifespan include daily handling, styling practices, environmental exposure, and general care routines. These elements will be discussed in detail during your consultation, where you’ll receive guidance on how to protect your wig and maximise its lifespan.
